After creating an account, the next thing is to sign in to your new Paystack account. On your dashboard, you will find your public and secretkey. We will make use of the public and secretkey for this guide.
Paystack will only support the below currencies, Here is a breakdown of countries and the currencies they can accept payments in:
So before setting up Paystack, you have to make sure the currency in your Vepaar account is from the above list only.
Setting up Paystack
Before setting up Paystack, check the Restricted Businesses list to ensure that your business is not on this list, and you are allowed to use Paystack to process payments in your store.
To set up Paystack in your store:
From your Vepaar admin, go to the Store > Payment page.
Click Configure for Paystack and Enable the Paystack option.
In the new tab, log in on Paystack.com and go to Settings > Request Go Live tab where you have to set up your bank details and click on the “Request to live” button to complete.
After your account is successfully activated to use Paystack in live mode, visit here, you can easily copy your public and secret keys from Paystack (Settings → API Keys & Webhooks). The live keys are used for production purposes. While the public is for testing purposes.
Once you copy the Secret Key and Public Key, you have to paste in under your Vepaar account as shown below and copy the Webhook from Vepaar to Paystack "Live Webhook URL" field on the above screenshot.
Once finished, your Paystack account will be connected to your Vepaar store. Customers will be able to pay with Paystack.
When a customer pays for an order using Paystack, the money goes to your Paystack account. You can see the Transaction ID in the order details in your Vepaar admin. You can view more information on your Paystack account for any transaction with Paystack.
If Paystack isn't supported in your country, set up another payment option to accept card payments in your Vepaar store.
